A two-phase development providing affordable homes to Bishop's Cleeve

Rooftop Housing Group is working alongside Speller Metcalf to deliver 30 new houses as part of a £3.5 million development to create a mixture of affordable rent and shared ownership properties, with the support of Tewkesbury Borough Council and funding through Homes England.
Each home is designed to the ‘Rooftop Living Homes Standard’, which promotes great design and environmental sustainability.
Using renewable energy sources each property will be highly efficient, meeting the EPC ‘A’ rating to create warm, energy and future-proof homes for residents with sustainable features including rainwater harvesting, compost bins and cycle areas.
This scheme is part of our plan to deliver 1000 homes by 2023 and is set to complete in January 2022.
Bishop's Cleeve is an urbanised village in the Borough of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England, North of Cheltenham. The village lies at the foot of Cleeve Hill, the highest point in the Cotswolds and borders Woodmancote on the East side of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire railway line that splits the two parishes.
Bishop's Cleeve has a population of 10,612 (2011), the village saw rapid growth during the 20th century as a result of the construction of the Smiths Aerospace factory near the village after the Second World War.
Bishops Cleeve boasts reliable transport links, including a public bus service to local towns such as Tewkesbury and Cheltenham.
The closest train station to Bishops Cleeve is Cheltenham Spa, which is located on the Bristol-Birmingham mainline. For those who love the lights of the big city, there is a passenger train from Cheltenham Spa to Paddington Station in London that takes two hours 21 minutes.
With gorgeous countryside close by, vibrant village life on the doorstep and the municipal charms of Cheltenham only 4.6 miles away, Bishops Cleeve is an attractive place to live.
