The site contains 23 plots with 5 fully DDA compliant pitches.
In 2010, Rooftop took over the management of a site in Wythall which has been home to Gypsy and Traveller families over the past 45 years and, having secured a grant from the Homes and Communities Agency, started a project to refurbish the existing 18 units and provide 5 new units.
These new units provide kitchen, bathroom and living space for all pitches whilst addressing accessibility requirements for an increasingly ageing population by providing:
- wider doorways
- access ramps
- wet room style bathrooms
This project started in May 2011 and was successfully completed in January 2012.
