As a reliable landlord, keeping our customers safe and warm at home is always a priority.
We continue to improve the energy efficiency of our homes as part of the government’s Warm Home: Social Housing Fund Wave 3 programme. As required by the government, the programme supports us in ensuring all our homes achieve the minimum Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Band C rating by 2030. Homes with a higher EPC are generally warmer, cheaper to heat and better for the environment.
We are now working with LivGreen to deliver these improvements across our homes with the lowest EPC ratings. All other Rooftop homes are already rated EPC Band C or above.
In the 2025/2026 financial year, we completed emergency efficiency upgrades to 172 homes through the programme. This financial year, we are continuing the work and plan to retrofit a further 149 homes.
The improvement works carried out after an assessment may include various energy performance measures, such as loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, upgrading doors and windows, low-carbon heating systems and solar panels.
Customers whose homes are included in the programme will be contacted directly. There is no need to do anything at this stage.
We’re pleased to hear positive feedback from customers who have already had improvement works completed:
The installers and surveyors were brilliant, clean and polite.
Punctual, tidy and happy with (the) teams.
Very professional, clean on us and installation went very well.
These comments reflect the care and professionalism we aim to provide during every visit.
We thank customers for their patience and cooperation while the work is carried out. These improvements will help create warmer and energy-efficient homes for the future.
