As previously advised, Rooftop’s current grounds maintenance contract with PPC ends on 31 March 2026 and we have been going through a legal procurement process to select a new contractor. This included customer representatives in the selection process.
There are several legal steps in the process to be completed to finalise this appointment. These include consultation with leaseholders who will receive Section 20 letters before Christmas.
We expect to be able to confirm the name of the new provider to all customers and colleagues at the end of January once the Section 20 process and standstill period conclude.
The current contractor, PPC, is winding down its service and has reduced capacity. We want the handover to be seamless, but there may be some shrubs and bushes that do not get their usual winter prune, and the first grass cuts may be a week or two later this year. We will catch up and ask for your patience as the new contractor takes over.
