Customer Contact Advisor
Salary: £28,643 per annum
Location: Evesham
We’re looking for a warm, professional and organised Customer Contact Advisor to be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them get the answers and support they need.
This is a varied, customer-facing role where you’ll handle enquiries by phone, email, social media and in person, making a real difference to our customers from the very first contact.
What you’ll do
- Handle customer calls, emails and visits, resolving enquiries at the first point of contact wherever possible
- Log repairs, inspections and minor adaptations accurately on our Housing Management System
- Book appointments and follow-on works, taking customers’ vulnerabilities and needs into account
- Greet office visitors and keep our reception area welcoming and well presented
- Respond to customer comments on social media, de-escalating issues where appropriate
- Signpost customers to support agencies and issue foodbank vouchers in line with our procedures
- Record and escalate complaints, and help safeguard vulnerable individuals
About you
You’ll bring:
- Experience in a busy office environment, dealing with customer queries by telephone and finding positive resolutions
- An excellent telephone manner, with great attention to detail when recording information
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Confidence using Microsoft Office
- Experience of building positive working relationships with customers, colleagues, contractors and other agencies
- Experience in social housing, or using housing management software, would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
