Executive Support Officer
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Location: Evesham
Salary: £28,012 per annum
Are you a great organiser who enjoys keeping things moving, spotting the detail others might miss, and helping senior teams work at their best? We’re looking for an Executive Support Officer to provide high quality, confidential support to our Executive Team and other senior colleagues.
This is a varied role at the heart of the organisation. Working closely with the Executive Support Manager, you’ll help make sure meetings, diaries, papers, correspondence and key deadlines run smoothly. You’ll prepare agendas and meeting packs, take clear and accurate minutes, track actions, support travel and accommodation arrangements, maintain stationery levels and ensure the franking machine is regularly topped up.
No two days will be exactly the same. You might be supporting a formal meeting one day, ordering and distributing stationery and coordinating out-of-hours rota information the next, or helping colleagues pull together accurate information for reports, audits, inspections or service improvement work. You’ll be someone who can stay calm under pressure, handle sensitive information with care, and bring a positive, can-do approach to the team.
About you
You’ll be organised, proactive and confident balancing a range of priorities. You’ll have strong administrative experience, excellent written English, great attention to detail and a customer focused approach. You’ll also be comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, databases and electronic filing systems, and able to produce accurate work to deadlines.
We’re particularly interested in people who enjoy working collaboratively, take pride in getting things right, and are confident communicating with colleagues at all levels. Experience of supporting meetings, taking minutes, maintaining records or working in an executive support, governance or busy administrative environment would be a real advantage.
What you’ll bring
- GCSE Maths and English at grades A–C, or equivalent.
- Experience providing strong administrative support and preparing professional correspondence.
- A clear, accurate writing style with excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, email, databases and electronic records.
- A practical, organised approach to managing deadlines and competing priorities.
- Good judgement when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- A friendly, professional approach to customer service and working with others.
- A willingness to learn, improve how things are done and take ownership when needed
If you enjoy being the person who keeps things organised, supports others to succeed and helps important work happen behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you.
Closing date for applications is 9am on 6 October 2026.
Please refer to the recruitment pack upon completing your application.
