Facilities & Safety Officer
Location: Evesham, with travel to other schemes and offices as required
£32,250 per annum, 37 hours per week
We're looking for a proactive and professional Facilities & Safety Officer to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, compliant and well-maintained environments for colleagues, customers and visitors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, records, data and processes, while ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and readily available when needed.
As a key member of the Health, Safety & Facilities team, you'll help keep our compliance activities running smoothly by maintaining accurate records, coordinating inspections and servicing activities, supporting audits and preparing documentation for health and safety governance processes.
About the role
The Facilities & Safety Officer provides comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the Health, Safety & Facilities Manager and wider Facilities team.
The role is central to ensuring that health and safety records, compliance documentation, contractor information, servicing schedules and facilities data are maintained accurately and efficiently. You will help ensure Rooftop remains compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements while supporting the delivery of excellent services to colleagues, customers and visitors.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for the Facilities team as well as health and safety and facilities related enquiries.
- Coordinating inspections, servicing visits and contractor activities.
- Preparing documentation and evidence for audits and compliance reviews.
- Supporting Health & Safety Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.
- Producing reports, trackers and performance information.
- Monitoring contractor accreditations, insurance and compliance deadlines.
- Raising purchase orders, processing invoices and maintaining expenditure records.
- Maintaining accurate health and safety, compliance and facilities records.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in an administrative or coordinator role.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining records, databases and filing systems.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
