24 hours per week £18,646 per annum (based on FTE £28,747)

We are looking for a Housing with Care Officer to deliver excellent housing management within our Housing with Care services. You will play a key role in supporting residents’ wellbeing, managing tenancies, and ensuring our schemes provide safe and welcoming environments.

What you’ll do

  • Manage tenancy processes including referrals, sign-ups, terminations, voids, and tenancy visits.
  • Work with residents to promote wellbeing and independence through individual plans, group activities, and signposting to specialist support.
  • Hold customer surgeries and respond to housing-related queries promptly.
  • Carry out regular health & safety checks and tenancy audits, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
  • Liaise with local authorities, social care, contractors, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Support income collection and ensure effective service charge monitoring.
  • Develop opportunities for residents to get involved and influence services.
  • Represent the organisation positively and work in line with our values.

About you

  • Experience working with older or vulnerable customers in a housing, care, or support setting.
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and tenancy management.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer-focused approach, and confidence to manage challenging situations.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • A housing-related qualification (Level 3 or above, or working towards).
  • Experience of multi-agency working and collating performance data.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check in line with safeguarding requirements.
